Chris’ Weight Loss Journey
As mentioned earlier, Moyles’ weight loss journey started long ago, however, it was a gradual and slow process.
He did not want to lose weight in six months only to gain it back in six months. Chris wanted to change his lifestyle once and for all. He wanted a long-term solution.
He started his journey by making changes to his daily routine. Chris changed the way he consumed food and spent his day. He built a diet plan in order to improve his eating habits. Following are details about how Chris succeeded in shedding 84 lbs:
Chris’ Diet Plan
Moyles’ weight loss strategy was simple: he wanted to lose weight by changing his negative eating habits.
Before starting the journey, he would binge eat by sitting in front of the television or listening to music. Chris did not have self-awareness in this regard.
However, he realized that he had to monitor what was he consuming. Talking about his daily routine, after he chose to lose weight, Chris said, “I will train Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and I will watch what I eat and I’ll eat very little. I do intermittent fasting and I’ll eat at 6:30 PM or 7 PM and I’ll be fine. I need to do that from the weekends that I have.”
Now, whenever Moyles was watching TV or doing any such activity, he would take the food far away from him, so he would save himself the trouble of fighting the temptation. He stopped eating processed food. Not only processed food, but Moyles stopped eating out at all.
Rather, he chose to eat at home. In this way, Moyles stayed away from every kind of unhealthy food that was harming his health. He also practiced fasting on weekends. Chris further said about his diet plan, “I eat eggs as they are. Chicken with skin on. Only started eating fish recently and have turkey at Christmas.”
Chris’ Workout plan
Aside from what Moyles ate, he took charge of what he did as well. He started his day by waking early in the morning and going for a long walk for an hour. Then, after breakfast, he would hit the gym, where Moyles would do cardio for another hour.
He would go for a long walk in the evening as well to burn calories. This is how Chris started living a healthy and happy life.
Chris Had Body Dysmorphia
Chris has had some trouble with body dysmorphia. He cared a lot about what others would think about his body or was becoming too fat. Here is what Moyles said about the problem, “I’m fascinated by body dysmorphia because I really have an issue with body dysmorphia, which I think most people do.“
Moyles further said, “I will, and people don’t believe me, but I weigh myself six days a week, and I know you shouldn’t and I know it’s not for everyone, but I do that so I can learn about how my body works.”
What did Moyles say about his Weight Loss?
After losing six stone, Chris said, “I know I don’t have the metabolism of an 18 years old girl or boy. But I am learning about my body and I am trying to live a healthy life. And it is working.”
Before & After Weight Loss
After losing 84 pounds, Moyles’ current weight is 168 pounds. Whereas he weighed 252 pounds in the past. He has really made huge progress.
