How did John Pinette Lose 200 Pounds?
John lost 200 pounds because he maintained discipline in his life. He wasn’t, of course, a fitness enthusiast but he did try his best. Pinette changed his diet and did workouts in the gym. Well, you can say, he tried.
Talking about his diet plan, Pinette said, “I tried to eat healthily and succeeded to some extent.” His nutritionist told him that he “can have all the salad”. John said, “I replied to her, ‘Salad is not a food. It comes with food.’ When my brain sees salad, it says, ‘something good is gonna come.”
He further said, “My nutrition made me add different vegetables and fruits to my salad. And a lot of them. I didn’t know about the antioxidants. I guess I was always pro-oxidant. Now, I have blueberries, strawberries, cucumbers, avocado, and turnips. Just like everyone hates one vegetable, for me it is turnips.”
Not only following a healthy diet plan, but Pinette also worked out in the gym to the extent he could. However, as a comedian, Pinette joked about it too. During his show at the Comedy Station, John said, “I had a personal trainer. I remember that on my first day at the gym, I was nervous. People were staring at me.”
John added, “Not because I was out of shape. But because I wore a Black Velour Shenjon sweatsuit. I should have looked in the mirror. I looked like a panda.” His hard work paid off and he lost half of his body weight.
