Well, Graham succeeded in it. He successfully got rid of 150 lbs. This was, of course, very big news and was meant to be celebrated. And when he shared his new photos on social media in order to celebrate them, they shocked his fans.

Graham Elliot’s Weight Loss Journey
“Weight is something I’ve battled all my life”, Graham told the interviewer. Simple tasks like tying shoes or playing with the kids became impossible for him. But what worried him the most was the future of his kids. He said, “What’s going to make me healthy is the most important thing right now so I can enjoy my kids and be around long enough to see them grow up”.
Given all these concerns, Graham embarked on the journey to lose weight. In order to lose weight, Elliot made a lot of changes to his lifestyle. Here are the details about what Graham did in order to shed some extra pounds.
Sleeve Gastrectomy (Surgery)
In order to lose weight, Elliot underwent weight loss surgery. Sleeve Gastrectomy is a weight loss surgery where the stomach is reduced by more than 80% of its original size. Now, of course, this procedure has its own risks but Elliot had to take some chance given his worsening health condition.
So he underwent the procedure. He described his current situation in his usual funny way, “I will feel full quicker because my stomach is that much smaller”. Elliot continued, “I won’t need six cheeseburgers to feel full”.
Given Elliot’s new stomach size, he had to change his diet as well in order to make it compatible with his new situation.
Graham’s Diet Plan
When Elliot was asked about his new diet, he answered, “With gastric bypass and other surgeries, there are some ingredients you can’t eat because it will cause you to get sick”. He further said, “This procedure will allow me to still taste and try everything”.
He gave up oily foods and substituted them with fresh veggies and fruits. Graham also stopped consuming sugar at all as it can increase weight exponentially.
Graham’s Workout Plan
To burn calories, Elliot gave attention to his workout routine. He would leave his house at 5 am in the morning to run for 2 miles every day. Besides that, Elliot also joined a gym where he lifted weights and did push-ups, pull-ups, squats, and boxing.
Graham also made playing with his kids a part of his daily routine. Recalling one of these moments, Elliot said, “At my son Mylo’s birthday in January, we were all running around playing tag with his friends. He was telling them, ‘My Dad is the fastest one here. He can beat us in a race.’ That was awesome!”
