After losing 2 stone, Corden said, “I’m entering the holiday season more confident than ever. It’s my favorite time of year, and it’s so liberating to know that I can still enjoy the foods I love most and never deprive myself”.

How did Corden Lose Weight?

James lost weight with the help of WW, formerly known as Weight Watchers. He limited his food consumption to only 2000 calories a day. Whereas before, Corden would consume up to 5000 calories daily.

This change made a huge difference. A month before Christmas, James gave up eating every kind of food that might cause an increase in his weight. That included his favorite snack of all time, ice cream. His abstinence from eating unhealthy food proved to be a very good decision. 

And in this way, James successfully lost 28 pounds. After losing weight, Corden enjoyed a lot of ice cream as well. To lose weight, he also started following a daily workout routine. He did the thing that he hated, which was exercise. Nevertheless, Corden knew that it was the only way out.

He followed an hour-long workout routine daily. James’ hate for exercise can be seen from his following statement, “I’ve been doing some exercise, which I hate. I just can’t bear it, so I’m using the word hate”.

Corden also thanked his wife, Julia Carey, for supporting him throughout the whole journey. He said that he hated every second of doing exercise but his wife helped him in staying focused. And that helped a lot in making exercise a habit. 

Besides that, Julia also helped Corden in maintaining his diet plan. He appreciated her in the following way, “My wife has been incredible in this, in my whole journey with food she’s been really, really amazing with me”.
